Optimizing Content for Mobile Shopping

Transcription

An important consideration when optimizing your listing image content for mobile is image sizing. Here, you have an option where we can either use square images or portrait images. First, we are looking at a square image. In this example, if we click on the image, we can see the image fills the entire width of the mobile frame.

However, the top and the bottom of the screen are automatically filled with white space. This view experience is distraction free and includes solely your listing images, which is a rare experience on Amazon. If we look at another example that uses portrait images, we can see that the image appears larger than the square formatted image in the previous example.

If we click into the image, we can see that the listing image now fills the full-frame and looks great depending on your content and the image assets you have on hand. One of these methods might be better for you.
